My Story
My name is Karina Andrino and I am a Mixed Media artist and Art teacher at the Chartreuse Muse in Modesto. I studied previously at San Joaquin Delta College with Honors in Stockton and am currently enrolled at CSU Stanislaus State in Turlock. I am a part of the University Honor’s Program, Single-subject prep, and Bachelor of Fine Arts.
I am diverse in the use of mediums to curate my pieces. I mostly enjoy working with paint, charcoal, and graphite pencil. I have recently found a passion for creating mini paintings which have their own mini easel. I enjoy sharing this passion with others who have purchased a mini painting from me and am honored to have them be a part of someone’s home.
As a mixed media artist and student in the Bachelors of Fine Arts program, I became fascinated with using different mediums of art. This includes photography, painting, lithography, and drawing. I have established a few bodies of work within each medium which can be located in my gallery.
I hope to inspire and bring smiles to others with my work. As an Art teacher, I want to influence younger artists and support them in creating beautiful masterpieces!
The Chartreuse Muse - Art School & Art Gallery in Modesto
I currently teach different age groups at The Chartreuse Muse. They range from kids to teens, and even adults! I create my own lesson plans that are both educational and fun. Every lesson plan is unique in their own way and is influenced by a different master artist each time. I guide my students step by step on how to curate their masterpieces while bringing out their own intricate styles as an artist. I have been a teacher at the Muse for almost a year now and have had so much fun bringing out an artist in everyone!
